When I first met Kimberly & Jordan, we pretty much immediately connected. I love when this happens in a client meeting; it’s really a great feeling. Sometimes a connection is made based on a similar aesthetic, or often I meet with clients who are also photographers or other visual artists. In this case… our common thread is that we are all super nerdy gamers (LoL). I now hang out with these lovebirds regularly in the gaming world, and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding at Singing Hills Memorial Park (yes, it’s a cemetery, and I couldn’t be more excited about that!).

Kira & Tim at Temecula Under the Oaks

I’m delighted to share this engagement session with Kira & Tim at Temecula Under the Oaks. Not only are they adorable and fun and arty, but they are also my good friends! On a side note, Kira is also a fantastic photographer and she’s the gal behind the lens of the photo in the “About” section of this very blog :). I can’t wait to see what these two have planned for their wedding next summer (especially since I know Sweet Emilia Jane will be sprinkling some fairy dust on this one)!
Sarah & Charlie’s Engagement Session in Old Town

I love shooting early morning engagement sessions and this shoot with Sarah & Charlie is no exception! We wandered around Old Town and found some really cool spots to shoot! In addition to being crazy-photogenic, these two have great taste and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding with the AMAZING Noa of Feather Love Photography in September!
Chandra & Andy’s Engagement Shoot – All Over SD!

I think we pretty much covered it all in Chandra & Andy’s engagement photo shoot! We started off at the Corvette Diner in Point Loma where Chandra wore a an adorable Betsey Johnson polka dot dress and accessories… very rockabilly! Then we went for a vintage feel and just shot around the streets of University Heights. I <3 Antique Row! We finished up the day at Balboa Park. I will never get tired of shooting there because every time I do I discover something new. I also added in a couple studio shots of their awesome tattoos! Can’t wait to shoot their wedding in June :)

Judit & Ryan – Cactus Garden

I’ve decided that my favorite clients are the ones that are willing to climb inside a hallowed out tree that could possibly have living creatures in it :). Husband & wife, Ryan & Judit chose this awesome cactus garden for their portrait shoot. They were both super troopers and even survived the attacks of some of the cactus fruits!
