Mike Mesch & his fabulous family celebrated his 60th birthday at La Costa Spa & Resort in Carlsbad, CA. The birthday bash included dinner, dancing, family, good friends & a whole lot of adorable grandkids…. doesn’t get a whole lot better than that!

Judit & Ryan – Cactus Garden

I’ve decided that my favorite clients are the ones that are willing to climb inside a hallowed out tree that could possibly have living creatures in it :). Husband & wife, Ryan & Judit chose this awesome cactus garden for their portrait shoot. They were both super troopers and even survived the attacks of some of the cactus fruits!

I was privileged to photograph this B-E-A-utiful family on vacation all the way from Alberta, Canada. The beach in San Diego County doesn’t get much better than La Jolla in my opinion :). Mama Shantelle, daddy Leon & cousin Dakota were all celebrating baby Madeline’s very first birthday! It was a joy to capture!

Francine & Roberto tied the knot at Dog Beach in Coronado with a very small guest list of two: their spunky little pugs, Ruby & Beckham. I love big huge family weddings, but this is the first elopement I have had the opportunity to shoot, and I have to say, this is a good way to go if you are considering it. It was all the love, hold the frills & fuss, AND they got to honeymoon for three weeks in Europe! All four of them were great sports and a blast to shoot. Oh! And I can’t tell you how much I adore Francine’s vintage light coral-pink dress. So cute! AND she didn’t even mind getting it a little dirty :)
